In order to further meet the public's demand for museum visits during the summer vacation and improve the quality of public services, the Changsha Museum will extend its opening hours from August 1 to August 31, 2025. Please note that the museum remains closed on Mondays.
During this period, the museum will remain open until 20:30 daily, with the last entry at 20:00.
Tickets for the Changsha Museum can be reserved for free up to 7 days in advance. Visitors are required to log in to the "Reservation for Visit" page on the museum's official WeChat account or website to complete real-name registration. After a successful reservation, visitors may enter the museum during their reserved time slot by presenting their reservation QR codes or ID cards and completing security checks.
In addition to the original reservation time slots, a new evening session (16:30-20:00) will be added.
A total of 2,000 tickets will be available for the evening session.
During the extended opening hours (17:00-20:30), public facilities such as multimedia equipment, self-guided tours, AR smart glasses, self-service cultural and creative kits, and standing touchscreens will remain open to ensure convenient services for visitors.
Meanwhile, telephone inquiries and group reservation services will be suspended during this period (17:00-20:30). For such needs, please contact the museum at 0731-82892350 or visit the museum during its regular opening hours (9:00-17:00).
